Our Farm
Hi! We are the Burkes. We grow 100% natural produce on more than 12 acres in the beautiful little farming community of Little Falls, Wisconsin. We grow a wide variety of fresh vegetables and berries without the use of chemicals or fertilizers. We sell all of our produce locally, at five Farmers Markets in Polk and St. Croix counties.
Our gardens lie on an 80 year old barnyard, virgin pastureland that had never been tilled or cropped before, and reclaimed cropland that sat fallow and chemical-free for more than 30 years.
We grow our crops on fertile, organic, living soil, providing you with uniquely delicious, healthy and nutritious produce.
All-Natural Produce
While we do not certify organic, we do adhere to organic guidelines and use only OMRI-approved products.
Beginning in 2023, we no longer use added fertilizers of any kind. Instead, we rely upon various cover crops as a sustainable and environmentally friendly way to build and maintain natural fertility in healthy, living soil.
You can taste the natural goodness, and know that you are giving your family the freshest, healthiest produce you can find. And you are supporting local agriculture that uses natural sustainable practices.
How to find us
We offer several options for those interested in purchasing their vegetables from us.
You can now find us at 5 local weekly farmers markets in southern Polk county (Amery, Osceola), northern St. Croix county (Market at the 45th- New Richmond), and southern St. Croix/northern Pierce county (Rush River Brewing- River Falls). For our eastern Minnesota/ east metro friends, we have markets just minutes from Hudson, Stillwater, Scandia and Lindstrohm!
We also offer our exclusive My Way CSA. Available in 3 sizes, a My Way CSA gives you unmatched freedom and flexibility- providing an entire season of fresh veggies and canned goods for a single affordable membership.
We offer many types of produce, from arugula to zucchini. Expect a large supply of garden staples like beans, cukes, tomatoes, lettuce, melons, broccoli, squash and sweet corn- along with a few you're less familiar with! Most types are available in both small sizes and in bulk. Don't forget to enjoy our many popular canned items, available exclusively at our local markets.
