There have been a number of recent advancements in biological and other organic control of insect pests.
This allows us to manage insect damage without chemical contamination of our produce.
We utilize best practices to protect bees and other beneficials.
Disease Management
Any natural or organic farm has an ongoing battle with fungal, bacterial and viral diseases.
We use two primary weapons to prevent or minimize blights, mildews and other diseases.
One is potassium bicarbonate (fancy baking soda), which is commonly used in food products.
The other is biologicals, which naturally suppress fungal and other diseases while supporting the plant's own natural immune system.
While organic-approved products are not quite as quick and effective as toxic chemicals, we feel it's a worthwhile trade-off to protect your health.
